My not so little treasure
We all have our own 'go to' activities that we confide into when things fall apart or when they fall into place, when our worlds turn upside down or when we finally get a good night's sleep, when we spill tea on our favorite white tshirt or when we see a long lost friend after a decade.
Well, that activity for me is writing.
I have my phases where I'm completely incapable of spilling the simplest of lines that I would easily pen down on other days but then, there're days, writing makes me believe I have a higher purpose to attain in this lifetime, in a world where we all are a slave to mundanity and materialism.
I'm still learning, trying to make use of whatever comes in my way as a lesson to learn, explore and feed my lines with words that would resonate on a level so deep with you as if you were the one writing them.
I believe, writing is my only treasured solace and will be for as long as I have the ability to feel. With ofcourse the objective to keep getting better and relatable.
And, if at any twisted corner or at any crowded three way, you find a way to the road you've been looking for through the little lamppost of my words on the street, my job really is done.
Having said that, I know, life is going to get a lot busier, hectic and doing what I love will look like a tedious task for me to accomplish.
It has been that way for most of the time but what I've really learnt is, if there's something that connects you to your inner being, that fills your chest with absolute joy, keeps you grounded to your substance of existence, oh my my, you have no idea how beautiful your life is or can be. Treasure it, whatever that may be for you.
Okay. End of my Ted talk. 😛
